Election 2007
Believe it or not
the 2007 elections are just a matter of weeks away. The Local Elections
for England are on Thursday May 3rd and High Wycombe and Beaconsfield CF
are going to be highly involved.
Joel Foley has
taken this opportunity to encourage members to get involved. "We can't
win elections without people getting out there onto the streets, we need
people to knock on doors in the couple of weeks before the election and
to deliver leaflets in the months before hand. The Wycombe Conservative
Association has a extensive plan for this, and candidates are going to
be out on the streets almost every weekend from now to Election Day in
different parts of the district".
Wycombe
Conservative Future has two members standing as candidates this year.
They include Joel Foley, the chairman, and activist Daryl Roberts. Daryl
commented "we need you, our members to help us get young conservative
representation onto the Wycombe Council. In order to do this we need
help walking the streets in the wards, leafleting and canvassing".
Daryl and Joel
are both candidates in wards currently held by Labour, but expected to
swing blue this year. Joel adds "Labour have not added any value to our
town, but to take these wards from them in May is not going to be easy.
I can't stress how much help we need from our members. Both Daryl and I
have superb plans for our election campaigns and will be helping each
other to canvass. We need your help too. Whether you can spare a couple
of hours, a day, or want to be fully involved in the campaigns, we'll
look after you. Email me,
joel@joelfoley.co.uk to let me know when you are free and I'll show
how you can help us".

wish Daryl and Joel the best of luck for the coming months, we're
supporting you all the way!
